2. Quotations and Authorisation

  • All work is subject to a written quotation provided to the client or insurer.

  • Accepted payment methods include EFT, card, or insurance settlement.

  • Vehicles not collected within 48 hours of completion may incur daily storage fees.

4. Liability and Risk

  • Lubbe Panelbeaters limits liability to the repair work performed.

  • The company is not responsible for mechanical faults, electrical issues, or personal belongings left in the vehicle.

  • Delays caused by parts availability or insurer authorisation are beyond the company’s control.

5. Warranties

  • A 12-month warranty is provided on paintwork and workmanship.

  • Warranties exclude damage caused by accidents, misuse, environmental factors, or subsequent repairs by third parties.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Clients must disclose prior repairs or modifications.

  • Insurance excess payments must be settled before vehicle release.

  • Vehicles must be collected promptly after completion to avoid storage charges.

7. Cancellation and Changes

  • If a client cancels after work has started, they are liable for costs incurred up to that point.

  • Lubbe Panelbeaters reserves the right to adjust timelines if unforeseen damage is discovered.

8. Insurance Claims

  • Most repairs are processed through insurers; clients must ensure claims are properly lodged.

  • Lubbe Panelbeaters will liaise with insurers but final responsibility for claim approval rests with the client.
